The 2-Group Volumetric Appia Compact 110 (MAPPIACVOL110) is an elite home or small commercial espresso machine with a professional heritage and professional quality parts from Nuova Simonelli.
The Appia Compact has been designed as the perfect commercial espresso machine for establishments with limited counter space or a home espresso machine for customers with more discriminating tastes and enjoy entertaining.
It comes equipped with such advanced professional features as a 7½ liter heat-exchange, copper boiler that allows for simultaneous brewing and steaming and Nuova Simonelli’s patented “push/pull” steaming levers that are more intuitive and ergonomic than traditional steaming knobs.
This volumetric Appia Compact features programmable, volumetric dosing buttons and Nuova’s unique Soft Infusion System® which delays full water pressure to allow the coffee cake to be more fully saturated preventing cracking and channeling in the coffee cake during extraction.
Additionally, the Appia Compact has all the features, technology and reliability of the full-size, two-group Appias in a slimmer, more compact design that can fit in even the most cramped spaces, and because its been wired for 110 volts, it can be plugged into any standard three-prong outlet in your home or business.
